Meanwhile, headliner Christina Aguilera was recently turned down by a local band after asking to sing with them in a New Orleans bar.

The star stopped by Cafe Negril on November 8, the night before her ‘Liberation’ tour show at The Saenger Theater. A local reggae band, who perform at the venue every Thursday, were playing a gig as Aguilera partied inside.

It was reported that Aguilera later approached group’s frontman to ask if she could join them for a song. In footage shared on Twitter, Aguilera is heard saying to Bryant: “You don’t want that? Oh, it’s OK. I don’t have to sing.”
