Kendrick Lamar announces first shows of 2019

Kendrick Lamar has announced his first live dates of 2019.

The ‘HUMBLE.’ rapper will headlining Lollapalooza’s South American festivals. He’ll perform at the Argentina and Chile festival on the weekend of March 29-31 at Hippodromo de San Isidro in Buenos Aires and O’Higgins Park in Santiago, respectively.

On the weekend of April 5-7, Lamar will take to the stage at Autódromo de Interlagos in Brazil, São Paulo.

Arctic Monkeys, Post Malone, The 1975, Twenty One Pilots, St. Vincent, Kamasi Washington, and many others are also slated to perform the three Lollapalooza festivals.

Earlier this month, Lamar and Pharrell Williams have shared a collaboration called ‘The Mantra’, which features on the soundtrack album of the new Rocky spin-off, Creed II.

Lamar also joined forces with Anderson .Paak recently or a song called ‘Tints’, which is on .Paak’s new album, ‘Oxnard’.

Rumours of a new Lamar album were quashed in September after one of the rapper’s labelmates, Isaiah Rashad, revealed that he had heard a “damn near” complete new record.

Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony Tiffith denied that new material was imminent.
