Ariana Grande cancels Las Vegas show after experiencing ‘health issues’

Ariana Grande has cancelled her first full performance since the death of Mac Miller after experiencing “health issues”.

The ‘Thank U, Next’ singer was originally due to perform at the Cosmopolitan’s Chelsea Theatre, her first full-length show since a tumultuous period that saw her splitting from fiancee Pete Davidson, only months after Miller’s death. 

“Vegas, I’m currently working through some health issues and am beyond sorry I won’t be able to see you this weekend. I love you and so look forward to seeing you and making it up to you next year,” Grande wrote on her Instagram story.

In a follow-up statement, the Cosmopolitan said Grande’s show was off due to “unforeseeable health reasons” and confirmed that they were offering full refunds.

Next year, Grande’s ‘Sweetener’ tour will hit the UKwith the singer confirming plans for a special show in Manchester to celebrate the lives of the 22 people who were killed in a terrorist attack after she played the city in 2017.

“Manchester is not on this initial list because we are planning a special show,” she explained as she announced the initial UK dates.
