Despite recent cancellations, the upcoming UK tour dates of Nicki Minaj and Juice WRLD are still set to go ahead.
Over the weekend, the rappers cancelled a pair of shows in Europe due to “technical reasons”. After promoters ultimately pulled the plug on the second concert in Bordeaux, Minaj shared their statement via her official Instagram, before the ‘Queen‘ rapper addressed the scrapped Arkea Arena gig on Twitter.
“Why would an artist cancel a show & lose money? What for? When they’re already in the building, dressed, etc. The artist is just as mad as the fans when a show can’t go on.”
She claimed that the venue “just didn’t have the power in the building to facilitate my show”, arguing that organisers didn’t make her aware of the issues “until three hours before the show, as opposed to when we did soundcheck and they said it was fine.”
Minaj added: “Every artist – every artist – has technical difficulties and have to cancel shows. I wanna tell you guys that I love you dearly and I really hope to make it up very soon.”
Amid fears from fans that her upcoming UK shows would suffer the same fate, organisers have since confirmed to NME that the dates are all set to go ahead.
The UK leg of the tour calls at The O2 in London tonight (March 11) before hitting Birmingham (14), Dublin (15), Glasgow (17), and ending in Manchester (18).

Juice WRLD will be supporting Minaj on all 22 dates. Artists from each city will also be invited to perform.
