Watch The Raconteurs’ live comeback, their first appearance in eight years

The band even previewed material from their upcoming new album.

The Raconteurs made their live comeback last night at Third Man Records’ 10th anniversary concert in Nashville.

Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler took to the stage Saturday (April 6) for the first time in eight years, this ahead of the much anticipated release of the band’s third studio album, ‘Help Us Stranger’, which is due to arrive June 21 2019.

They announced last year that plans were underway for a new record after the four-piece recently returned to action by releasing two new songs, ‘Sunday Driver’ and ‘Now That You’re Gone’.

Now, ahead of a busy summer of touring and festivals, the supergroup have announced what they hail as “the rock n’ roll album you’ve been waiting for” with their first record in over a decade.

Previewing a lot of material from the new album during last night’s 15-song set, the band, who were introduced to the stage by Jack White’s mother, debuted ‘Sunday Driver’, ‘Now That You’re Gone’, ‘Bored and Razed’, ‘Help Me Stranger’, and ‘Shine the Light on Me’, along with two other new songs.

Other songs in the set included past favourites like ‘Consoler of the Lonely’, ‘Level’, ‘Salute Your Solution’, ‘Steady As She Goes’ and ‘Caroline Drama’.
