Announcing the news from Goldeneye in Jamaica, Barbara Broccoli said that the new movie would begin with Bond not on active service and “enjoying himself” in his spiritual home.
While the film currently has still no title, they confirmed that filming had taken place in Jamaica, Norway, Pinewood Studios, various locations in London, and Matera in Italy.
The team then confirmed that Ralph Fiennes, Rory Kinnear, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Léa Seydoux would be returning to join Daniel Craig in the latest instalment, with Rami Malek, Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen and Ana De Armas all confirmed to play new characters in the franchise.

It comes after it was recently reported that Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge had been asked to liven up the script for the forthcoming movie.
Bond 25’s release date was recently pushed back by two months and is now expected to arrive on April 8, 2020.
The news was confirmed by the James Bond franchise’s official Twitter account, with a tweet that read: “The release date for Bond 25 has changed. Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli: ‘We are absolutely thrilled to be releasing Bond 25 on 8 April 2020.'”
Bond 25 has hit several stumbling blocks ever since it was announced four years ago. Whether it was Craig saying he would rather slash his wrists than play the spy again before returning to the role, Sam Mendes refusing to direct anymore Bond films, or Danny Boyle joining the project and then leaving citing “creative differences”, things haven’t started well for the movie.
Said to be based on the novel Never Dream of Dying by the US author Raymond Benson, which featured Bond as a spy, pre-production work has begun on locations in Italy, Norway, and Jamaica, plus Pinewood in the UK.
